The wait is over. Ultrahuman HYROX India has officially released the venue map for the massive Bengaluru race happening this weekend, April 11th - 12th, 2026, at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre (BIEC) Hall 4.

If you are competing this weekend, looking at a black-and-grey schematic can be overwhelming. As a Certified HYROX Performance Coach, I study these maps to help my athletes shave minutes off their transition times.

Here is your tactical, no-nonsense breakdown of the HYROX Bengaluru layout and exactly what you need to know before you step into the start tunnel.

1. The "3-Lap" Running Rule (Do Not Mess This Up)

The single most important slide released today was the "Laps to Run" graphic.

Because BIEC Hall 4 is an indoor venue, you are not running a straightforward 1km track. To complete your 1km run between stations, you must run multiple laps around the perimeter of the workout stations.

  • The Rule: For Singles and Doubles, you must go "IN" to the Roxzone on the third time you see the "IN" arch.

  • The Coach's Warning: Miscounting laps is the #1 mistake first-timers make. If you enter the Roxzone too early, you will be hit with a brutal 3-minute time penalty. Do not rely on your smartwatch GPS indoors; rely on your brain. Count your arches.

2. The Roxzone Layout & Transitions

Looking at the map, the "Roxzone" (the yellow transition area where you run from the track to your workout station) is centrally located.

  • Hydration: There are water stations marked clearly along the running course and at the Roxzone entry/exit points. Tactical Tip: Do not stop at the water station during your 1km run. Grab water in the Roxzone right before or after a brutal station like the Sled Push or Wall Balls to keep your heart rate managed.

  • The Funnel: The "IN" and "OUT" arches are located near the Wall Balls and Burpee Broad Jumps. Expect this specific corner of the venue to be a highly congested bottleneck. Keep your eyes up and navigate cleanly.

3. Station Placement Strategy

The order of the 8 stations never changes, but their physical placement dictates your transition times.

  • The Heavy Sleds (Stations 2 & 3): As expected, the Sled Push and Sled Pull are placed side-by-side on the long straightaway. The friction on these indoor carpets is going to be heavy. Take a deep breath before you enter the Roxzone here.

  • The Grand Finale (Station 8): The Wall Ball rig is positioned right next to the Finish Zone. When you pick up that medicine ball for your 75 or 100 reps, you will literally be looking at the finish line. Use that visual for mental leverage when your shoulders are burning.
